SOCIAL SERVICE IN BOSNIA

ZDRAL

You have a big heart for children and are enthusiastic about putting together a colourful and varied children’s programme? Do you love the German language and want to help children learn it? Then ZDRAL is the right place for you.

The non-profit organisation Zdral in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo looks after children and young people. By imparting education, it is made easier for children to break out of the poverty spiral. In addition, intercultural dialogue is promoted. Specifically, various German language courses as well as afternoon programmes for children are offered and various camps and leisure activities are organised (tent camps, ski camps, etc.) Sarajevo is a city with about 300,000 inhabitants. We live on the outskirts of the city with apportionment. Bosnia is a very beautiful country that invites to excursions and many leisure activities.

The project is run by the Ströhmann family from Germany. Together with their children, they have been living in Sarajevo for over 20 years and have a big heart for the local population.
